The Dutch Miami

I first opened The Dutch in SoHo with my two partners from Locanda Verde, Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom. We never thought we’d take The Dutch on the road, but then we found a spot for it on Miami Beach not too far from where my grandfather ran The Surf Club back in the 1950’s. I started thinking back to all those family road trips from my home in Ohio to visit him and my grandmother at their house in Little River, and all that local citrus, fresh fish right off the boats and red ripe tomatoes in the middle of winter. I started picturing The Dutch beach-side with stone crabs, some Latin flavor and sour orange pie. So, we partnered up with some locals and opened The Dutch Miami inside W South Beach Hotel & Residences where it’s pretty much always sunny. Come down and visit any time.
