Lafayette is my everyday French restaurant in downtown Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood. Open morning, noon and night, we built this grand café and bakery for my own style of French country cooking and the daily social rhythms of eating for pleasure. We make all of our own organic breads, viennoiseries and pastries for the bakery café we built inside the restaurant. Our menu and wine list represents France as a whole with influences from all throughout its regions, like rustic Provence to Normandy and the Mediterranean coasts nearby. I got my start cooking French food back at Lespinasse in 1993, and you may remember having a nice meal uptown at Café Boulud when I was the chef de cuisine there, now I’d like to welcome you to my Lafayette.
